Berrywood

SEVERNA PARK

Originally developed between the 1960s and 1980s, Berrywood is a premier water-privileged community at the end of Cattail Creek in Severna Park, Maryland. The neighborhood consists of 239 homes in various styles, including split-level, contemporary, and colonial designs. Berrywood offers a wide range of desirable amenities, such as two marinas with kayak racks and a boat ramp, a community pool with a separate baby pool, a swim team, lighted tennis courts, a playground, basketball courts, and large athletic fields. The community fosters a family-oriented and active environment, encouraging residents to participate in neighborhood activities.

Historically, Berrywood spans 1,160 acres and was once part of Huckleberry Forest, a property dating back to 1687 when it belonged to Richard Beard. Colonel Elijah Robinson, a Revolutionary officer, later built the "old stone house" on the land, which is believed to have been visited by George Washington. The "old stone house" and a small graveyard can still be seen from B&A Boulevard today.

More Than Real Estate.

It’s How You Live Here.

Buying or selling a home is just the start.

What matters is understanding the place around it — the market, the lifestyle, the culture, the communities, and the forces shaping what comes next. That’s what we do.
